Job summary

Triumph Integrated Systems - Electronics and Controls in Forest, Ohio, is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Engineer to develop and maintain inspection standards and quality plans for aerospace components. The role emphasizes data-driven quality improvement, cross-functional coordination, and leadership in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate has lean manufacturing knowledge and 3+ years in a quality role within aerospace or similar industries, with strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with theoretical and practical knowledge.
• Three or more years of related experience in a manufacturing/quality role.
• Effective supervisory/leadership skills required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality/inspection standards and evaluation methods for products and processes.
• Assesses quality performance using statistical methods and implements inspection and testing procedures.
• Coordinates technical evaluations and data acquisition to ensure quality objectives are met.
• Plans and monitors work progress, coordinates manpower/materials to meet delivery dates.
• Provides guidance to solve work-related problems and maintain quality standards.
• Trains and develops employees and applies leadership techniques.
• Maintains safe, clean work area and proper use of equipment.
• Leads department meetings and champions improvement programs.
• Performs related responsibilities as required.
