Job summary

Triumph Group is seeking a Quality Inspector in Michigan to perform final, first article, and in-process inspections on aerospace jet engine components. You will ensure products meet Triumph Group and customer requirements, and uphold safety policies.

You will read blueprints, apply GD&T, and use micrometers, bore gauges, and related tools. You will document results, train others, and support continuous improvement efforts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical schooling; associates a plus

Responsibilities

• Assures product quality using inspection equipment.
• Maintains quality documentation (MCI/AS9102/IMS/First Piece).
• Reads and interprets aerospace blueprints and GD&T.
• Uses standard inspection tools (micrometers, bore gauges, etc.).
• Troubleshoots equipment and suggests replacements/parts.
• Prepares reports and interacts with suppliers.
• Trains other inspectors as required.
• Complies with policies and safety regulations.
• Maintains relationships with customers.
• Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations.
