Baptist Health Citizens Hospital in Talladega, AL is seeking a Manager of Quality Services and Infection Prevention to lead clinical quality, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance. This role works with nursing, medical staff, executives and quality teams to drive performance improvement and patient safety.

The position requires a BSN/MSN preferred, RN/MT/RT licensure, and CIC certification within 3 years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in clinical field and licensure as RN, MT, or RT; BSN/MSN preferred.
• CIC certification within three years of hire is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Communicates quality and safety initiatives to team members and physicians.
• Develops and monitors action plans for clinical quality and infection prevention.
• Leads cross-department strategies to improve quality and safety.
• Monitors quality scorecards and board metrics.
• Ensures compliance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements.
• Educates staff on infection prevention practices and regulatory requirements.
• Participates in infection prevention committees and improvement projects.
• Analyzes data to inform infection prevention strategies.
