Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an Infection Prevention Manager to plan, develop, implement, manage, and evaluate the facility's infection control program under medical directors and a multidisciplinary committee on infections.

The role requires advanced knowledge of accreditation and regulatory compliance with infection prevention practices, plus leadership of education programs and surveillance activities. A Bachelor’s degree and CIC-CBIC certification are expected.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2 years of experience required.
• Certification: CIC-CBIC or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises and manages assigned staff; hiring, firing, performance evaluation, training, work assignments and problem resolution.
• Establishes, implements, and administrates infection prevention program goals, targets, policies and procedures.
• Provides leadership and management of key infection control programs; prevents infection transmission using epidemiologic data.
• Oversees identification, implementation, and management of evidence-based strategies for infection prevention and control.
