Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Designs and coordinates education for Infection Preventionists about software access, use and reporting.
• Participates in quality and process improvement for infection prevention at system level.
• Trains and mentors system Infection Preventionists.
• Travels to Baptist facilities for survey readiness and program assessments.
• Builds collaborative relationships with multi-disciplinary teams and leads meetings.
• Applies evidence-based guidelines and regulatory standards in practice and policy development.
• Acts as SME and leads revisions of infection prevention policies and standards.
• Demonstrates ongoing professional development and attendance at educational offerings.
• Analyzes infection prevention data and presents it at committees.
• Prepares workshops and community education on infection prevention topics.
