Job summary

Coral Gables Hospital is seeking a Manager of Quality/Infection Control RN to lead the hospital's infection prevention program and quality assurance efforts. You will coordinate surveillance, policy enforcement, and regulatory compliance while guiding multidisciplinary teams to improve patient safety and care standards.

The role requires a nursing degree, state licensure, CIC certification within two years, and at least two years in quality leadership plus five years clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Prior nursing experience is required.
• At least 2 years in quality leadership and 5 years clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs annual infection control risk assessment and surveillance plan.
• Plans and facilitates the monthly Infection Control Committee meeting.
• Develops educational programs related to infection prevention.
• Reports infection surveillance data to local, state and federal health authorities.
• Participates in quality improvement and patient safety activities.
• Supports process improvement across hospital departments.
