Job summary

Great Dane is seeking a Quality Manager to own the plant's quality system under the Plant Manager and Corporate Director of Quality. You will drive the quality program, KPIs, and governance while enabling Lean improvements across manufacturing operations.

You will collaborate with leadership to develop short- and long-term strategies, monitor data, and lead cross-functional efforts to improve product quality, reliability, and cost performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering or related technical field.
• 3–5 years of related experience or equivalent training.
• Experience leading quality systems and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a comprehensive quality program for the plant, covering QA and QC.
• Collaborate with leadership to plan and oversee quality improvements and KPIs.
• Define long-term strategies for quality management and process reliability.
• Create and monitor Quality KPIs, Gates, and data-driven improvement actions.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives and drive cost-effective quality improvements.
• Provide quality engineering support to operations and resolve customer quality concerns.
