Job summary

Princess Cruises seeks a Quality Engineering Manager to lead the software quality organization across web, mobile, and API test automation. You will define the quality vision, shift testing left, and oversee automated suites in GitLab CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery.

The role requires strategic leadership of onshore and offshore QA teams, robust metrics, and governance to ensure fast, defect-free production deployments while enhancing guest experiences across ecommerce platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Quality Management, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years in Software Quality Engineering and Test Automation.
• 5+ years of direct experience managing quality engineering teams supporting web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• QE Strategy & Automation Leadership: Formulate and implement comprehensive test automation strategies for Web UI, React Native apps, and APIs.
• CI/CD & Tooling: Oversee expansion of automated frameworks into GitLab CI/CD pipelines for regression testing and faster releases.
• Team & Resource Management: Direct internal QA engineers and offshore partners; drive skill development and test data management.
• Quality Metrics & Release Governance: Establish metrics and enforce release quality gates with Product, Eng, and DevOps.
• Administrative duties as required (timekeeping, travel, collaboration).
