Job summary

RevolutionParts is seeking a Staff Quality Engineer to own the quality strategy for our ecommerce and payments-driven platform. You will mentor an offshore QA team while hands-on with automation tools and working closely with engineering, product, and operations to deliver robust releases.

The role emphasizes ownership, mentorship, and driving quality at speed in a startup-like environment. You will champion modern QA practices and partner to scale our testing as we grow.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years QA experience in web apps with SDLC, Agile, and TDD practices.
• College degree in CS or related field.
• Startup experience preferred.
• Proficient in Selenium, Cypress, or similar with hands-on scripting.
• Experience in functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Strong knowledge of ecommerce and payments workflows.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.

Responsibilities

• Mentor a QA team and drive collaboration, project management, and testing quality across efforts.
• Own and execute QA strategy for functional, regression, load, and security testing of complex web apps with payments focus.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks to increase coverage and release velocity.
• Partner with engineering and product to integrate testing early in development and troubleshoot across environments.
• Establish QA best practices and metrics to improve test coverage and reliability.
