Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is working with Mason-based manufacturers to recruit a skilled Quality Engineer. This role focuses on developing quality control procedures, performing root cause analyses, and leading SPC-driven improvements to ensure product quality and manufacturability across teams.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in engineering or manufacturing, 3+ years in manufacturing quality, and experience with ISO 9001, metrology tools, and statistical software such as Minitab or JMP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and industry standards.
• Proficiency in SPC, RCA, and problem-solving methodologies (8D, FMEA).
• Experience with metrology, inspection techniques, and quality tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and implement corrective actions.
• Utilize SPC to monitor and improve product quality.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability and quality.
• Perform internal and external audits to ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
• Manage and resolve customer complaints related to product quality.
