Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in Battle Creek, MI is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop quality procedures, analyze data, and drive improvements across manufacturing processes. You will conduct root cause analyses, lead audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet ISO 9001/AS9100 standards and customer requirements.

Proficiency with Minitab or JMP and quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, and PPAP is valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field
3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in manufacturing
Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100) and tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP)
Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation (Minitab, JMP)
Experience with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (8D, 5 Whys)

Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Lead and participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality into product design and manufacturing processes.
Validate and qualify new equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality standards are met.
