Job summary

SPX FLOW, now ITT Flow Technologies is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive corrective and preventive actions for internal and customer issues. You will interface with customers, sales, vendors, and internal teams to develop innovative solutions to complex engineering and manufacturing problems.

The role requires mechanical/technical engineering background, manufacturing experience, and proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP and Epicor.

Qualifications

• Mechanical/technical engineering Bachelor's degree or 3–5 years of direct mechanical assembly/machining experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical advisor to promote issue resolution and reduce cost of quality.
• Provide technical support to eliminate recurrence for non-conformances.
• Review communications to interpret customer needs and plan actions.
• Develop engineering solutions and manufacturing controls through process analysis.
• Apply root cause and continuous improvement methods to production areas.
• Prepare manufacturing work instructions, procedures and standard work.
