Job summary

SPX Flow, now ITT Flow Technologies in New York, is seeking a Quality Manager to lead a team in developing and improving quality control processes aligned with ISO9001:2015. The role includes managing post-shipment support and guiding improvements to reduce cost of quality and enhance customer experience.

You will drive compliance, document controls, define quality direction for manufacturing, and mentor staff through root-cause analysis, data statistics, and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline and minimum 5+ years’ Quality Management experience in a ISO9001:2015 compliant manufacturing environment.
• Six Sigma Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead ISO9001:2015 compliance and maintain the Quality System by developing and improving standard processes.
• Oversee quality control processes and procedures with meticulous documentation.
• Define quality direction for business and manufacturing processes and implement strategies.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs from warranty, scrap, and rework.
• Develop and implement Quality Control Plans across manufacturing processes.
• Lead a team to improve quality processes for safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Champion continuous improvement with root cause analysis and data-driven problem solving.
• Collaborate with project management, sales, and design engineering to define inspection/test plans.
• Prepare product/process reports to influence business strategy and identify non-conformance.
