Job summary

Hunter Douglas seeks a Quality Engineer to identify and manage quality improvements across the plant. The role partners with the DO to drive performance, audits, and corrective actions while shaping new product launch quality efforts.

Ideal candidates have a BS in a relevant field, 5 years in manufacturing quality, Six Sigma certification, and strong project leadership to coach teams and sustain continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BS Degree (Engineering, Statistics, Math, or Business).
• 5 years' experience as a Quality Engineer in a Manufacturing Environment.
• Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt (or capable of becoming certified).
• Quality systems development/auditing.
• Quality training and problem solving.
• Willing to travel and lead cross-divisional teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and communicate quality issues and trends.
• Manage a prioritized quality improvement plan for the plant.
• Coordinate the portfolio of quality improvement projects.
• Lead or mentor quality improvement projects and provide training.
• Develop control plans and conduct measurements and inspections.
• Respond to significant quality issues and support new product launches.
