Hunter Industries is seeking aSenior Quality Engineer to advance our Quality Department by leveraging Six Sigma, Lean, and ISO practices to boost process capability, reduce defects, and improve customer satisfaction. The role covers internal facilities and global contract manufacturers, with a focus on integrating quality into product development and supplier processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum five years of experience in high‑volume manufacturing
• Strong problem-solving, organizational and presentation skills
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

• Promotes the quality mission to expand and improve process capability to defect-free, reliable products
• Supports quality functions at internal facility and global contract manufacturing locations
• Establishes a robust quality management system with policies, procedures, and controls
• Leads QA in new product development stages: verification, design, qualification, testing
• Manages customer complaint system and resolves field issues with engineering
• Ensures product safety and environmental compliance
• Monitors KPIs and prepares performance scorecards
• Leads continuous improvement projects to reduce costs and improve quality
• Assists with budget planning and resource forecasting
• Expands knowledge of statistics and warranty/reliability methods
