Job summary

Hunter Recruiting is seeking a Quality Technical Support Engineer to improve and maintain ISO 9001/ISO 14001 processes within a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on preventing quality issues, leading continuous improvement, and coordinating with customers and suppliers.

The candidate should have a engineering-related degree or diploma, plus experience in quality, lean, and project management. Knowledge of SPc, documentation control, and audits is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in an engineering-related field.
• Experience in Quality Assurance, Production, Lean, and/or Engineering in manufacturing.
• Ability to present data, methods, findings, and remediation plans to audiences.
• ISO 9001/14001 training is an asset.
• Project management skills for scopes, schedules, and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Support achievement of quality, safety, environment, productivity, lean, and cost metrics through CI initiatives.
• Develop QA, environmental, and safety procedures and training materials, including SOPs and work instructions.
• Operate within the Document Control system.
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for non-conformances.
• Apply SPC, process mapping, control charts, DOE, lean, and process capability studies.
• Collaborate with customer and supplier Quality teams to align requirements and performance.
• Support internal and supplier development activities and maintain documentation.
• Review/approve docs for initial sample submissions (APQP, PPAP, ATP, etc.).
• Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits.
