Douglas Dynamics is seeking a Quality Technician to support manufacturing operations with product quality improvements. You will perform inspections, analyze data, and partner with engineering to resolve issues, ensuring processes meet strict specifications.

The role requires 3+ years in a manufacturing setting, strong measurement skills, and the ability to read engineering drawings. A safe, collaborative environment and ongoing development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably metal fabrication or machining.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Proficient with measuring instruments and quality tools.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform, develop and maintain quality inspections and tests on products to ensure conformance to specs.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and CMMs to verify dimensions, tolerances, and torque tool settings.
• Document inspection results and identify non-conformities.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to resolve quality issues.
• Create and maintain quality records and documentation.
• Follow quality management systems and procedures.
