Job summary

RTX is seeking a Quality Engineer intern for an onsite role in the United States. The position requires active U.S. government security clearance, citizenship, and enrollment in a STEM bachelor’s or advanced degree program with at least 60 credit hours completed.

You will learn to support quality processes, lead root-cause analysis, and coordinate with suppliers to resolve issues. Responsibilities include driving quality performance, supporting lean/agile implementations, and ensuring contract

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in STEM and enrolled through internship/co-op.
Minimum of 60 credit hours by start of internship/co-op.
Experience with Quality and Mission Assurance processes and tools.
Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Understand quality interface and drive overall quality performance including lean/agile methodologies.
Support rapid closure of issues by coordinating with other functions and communicating analytical results.
Interface with Raytheon’s supplier base to resolve open issues and review major deliverables for contract compliance.
