RTX in TeWKSBURY, MA is seeking a Systems Engineer–Test Capabilities intern/co‑op to integrate hardware and software, develop test plans, debug interfaces, and verify requirements. You will work across disciplines, support engineering testing through deployment, and contribute to multiple lifecycle phases with hands-on lab and field work.

The role requires pursuing an engineering degree with 60+ credit hours, familiarity with MATLAB and scripting, and a willingness to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in STEM and enrolled through the internship/co‑op session.
Minimum of 60 credit hours by the start of the internship/co‑op session.
Experience troubleshooting technical issues using common test equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform functional analysis of real world and test data; conduct trade studies.
Support troubleshooting and failure analyses with root cause and corrective actions.
Assist system integration and test activities, including live test events.
Travel as required up to 20% for tests or support.
Prepare and present results in reports and briefings; maintain engineering databases.
