Job summary

RTX is seeking a Quality Engineer intern in McKinney, TX to join the OSCQ organization. You will support quality performance, lean and agile initiatives, and help close issues with data analysis and cross‑functional collaboration.

Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering or related STEM field with at least 60 hours of credit by start date. Eligible for security clearance; onsite work; salary range provided.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering or closely related STEM major and actively enrolled through completion of the internship / co‑op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co‑op session.
• Education/Experience with Quality and Mission Assurance processes and tools.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• As a Quality Engineer intern, you will acquire an understanding of what is required to be the Quality interface and drive overall quality performance including continuous improvement and implementation of lean/agile methodologies.
• You will help to ensure programs meet customer objectives by working closely with other functions to support rapid closure of issues utilizing analytical capabilities and communication skills.
• You will work in a results‑based culture with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
