Heatcraft Refrigeration Products, LLC is seeking a Quality Engineer II to drive quality improvements across manufacturing processes at Stone Mountain with up to 50% travel to the Tifton factory. You will develop control plans, PFMEAs, and testing requirements to ensure product quality and process capability.

The role emphasizes root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive quality measures, leveraging Six Sigma, SPC, and structured problem solving.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 1-year related experience.
• Work involves the application of more complex engineering principles to develop methods and procedures to improve and maintain product quality standards.
• Competencies in SPC, Capability Studies, and Six Sigma.
• Experience with electromechanical systems is beneficial, with particular value placed on mechanical, electrical, controls, or refrigeration experience.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain Control Plans, PFMEAs, inspection/test requirements, and quality standards for manufacturing processes.
• Establish appropriate quality controls for critical product and process characteristics.
• Analyze manufacturing defects, test failures, rework, scrap, and field issues to identify systemic improvement opportunities.
• Lead containment, root-cause analysis, corrective action, and verification of corrective-action effectiveness.
• Use 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, DMAIC, Pareto analysis, SPC, and other structured problem-solving methods.
• Drive defect prevention rather than reliance on downstream inspection.
• Participates in new product introductions.
• Assists in monitoring and recording inconsistencies with quality procedures and norms.
• Collaborates with a cross-functional team in preparing quality analyses and recommends necessary quality procedure changes.
