Job summary

Heatcraft Refrigeration Products, LLC in Tifton, GA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to design and optimize manufacturing processes in an on-site industrial plant. You will support machining, forming, plastics processing, welding, brazing, assembly, and material handling with CAD tools and engineering methods.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience, along with strong engineering knowledge and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year related experience.
• Knowledge of engineering science and technology.
• Experience with analytical tools and CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plans, process specifications and procedures, production aids and assembly fixtures, conduct MRP support studies, factory cost work standard development.
• Compile and evaluate test data, prepare technical analysis, and recommend manufacturing methods for new or improved products.
• Provide production floor and assembly support in technical matters.
• Conduct analysis or tests pertaining to development of new methods, materials, processes or standards.
• Coordinate with other technical support personnel.
• Assign work to drafters and technicians and other shop personnel.
