Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas Inc is seeking a Quality Engineer in Staunton, VA, in-office. You will review design documentation to ensure UL and ISO9001 compliance, investigate quality concerns, and apply SPC and FMEA to improve manufacturing processes.

The role collaborates with manufacturing engineering and production teams to resolve non-conformities, report major issues, and support Kaizen events, with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field required.
• 2–4 years of engineering or related technical field experience.
• Certifications preferred: CQE, Six Sigma Green belt, Red X Apprentice.

Responsibilities

• Review design documentation for UL and ISO9001 compliance.
• Investigate customer and warranty quality concerns.
• Use quality tools (SPC, FMEA) to analyze data and evaluate processes.
