Job summary

Heatcraft Refrigeration Products, LLC is seeking a Safety Engineer to design, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental programs for our Stone Mountain, GA facility. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, training, and collaboration with manufacturing engineering to improve processes.

The position requires at least 2 years of related experience, a preferred Bachelor’s degree, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 2 years of related HSE experience.
• Knowledge of health, safety, environmental and workers' compensation best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop facilities and work procedures with HSE input.
• Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in HSE practices.
• Prepare and update environmental policies and manuals.
• Ensure compliance with applicable HSE regulations and changes.
• Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies as needed.
• Support manufacturing engineering and lean initiatives across the facility.
