Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• 3+ years of Quality Experience in the Aerospace or Automotive industry.
• 10% travel.
• Experience with quality systems (AS9100, ISO9001, FAA regulations).
• Proficient in data collection, analysis and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Use data driven problem solving to improve key quality metrics (DPPMs, scrap, customer satisfaction).
• Review nonconforming product and approve dispositions.
• Support shop floor with inspection plans, gauge R&R, capability studies, and QA tools.
• Develop and implement a Quality roadmap to achieve company objectives.
• Drive a culture of quality and ownership for the work, services and products.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement through lean methods and DMAIC.
