Job summary

Regal Rexnord seeks a Quality Inspector II for its Aerospace Business Unit. The role is fully onsite, performing final/receiving/in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and vision systems to uphold stringent quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of inspection experience, AS9102 knowledge, and proficiency in GD&T and measurement tools. Responsibilities include NCRs, SQDC metrics, and timely problem resolution.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• AS9102 First Article Inspection knowledge and quality planning tools (SPC, GR&R, Cpk, GD&T) is preferred.
• Basic math aptitude and understanding of metallurgy is desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform final, receiving, in-process, and first article inspections.
• Create nonconformance documentation (NCRs) and remove discrepant material.
• Maintain SQDC metrics and ensure documentation is in order at shift end.
• Set up gauges per specifications and assist in gauging design improvements.
• Escalate quality issues immediately and coordinate with the quality team.
