Job summary

Regal Rexnord Corp. is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer for the Aerospace plant in the Downers Grove area. The role reports to the Quality Assurance Department and focuses on supplier quality issues, developing supplier capabilities, and enhancing the existing quality program.

You will support daily quality problem-solving, drive corrective actions, and lead supplier development activities to prevent recurrence. Significant interaction with suppliers and internal teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 5–10 years in Supplier Quality Assurance.
• Knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001.
• Willingness to travel 5–10%.

Responsibilities

• Use data-driven methods to improve key quality metrics (PPM, scrap, customer satisfaction).
• Coordinate root cause analysis and corrective actions with suppliers.
• Lead material review board reviews for nonconforming product.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments.
• Develop receiving inspection plans.
• Lead qualification plans for outsourcing and supplier changes.
• Define supplier quality system requirements per customer needs.
• Foster a culture of quality at the source.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement at the facility and supplier locations.
