Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products Corp in Albany, Oregon is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive quality forward through effective internal and external communication. The role involves document control, review of FAIRS, handling customer complaints, and guiding corrective actions.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint, and the ability to read blueprints and specs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and basic network usage.
• Able to upload/download information from customer websites.
• Strong written and verbal communication; organized and multitasker.
• Independent and self-directed in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Read and understand blueprints and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain configuration control documentation through contract review and blueprint/spec control.
• Work with Engineering to submit waivers and concessions.
• Review and submit First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
• Investigate and disposition customer complaints and returns.
• Submit corrective actions to customers and internally.
• Review purchase orders for customer items and represent internal/external customers.
• Achieve certification for customer source inspection, including AS13001/AS9117 training.
• Participate in continual improvement projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
