CPP Corporation is seeking a Quality Engineer I for its Albany, Oregon facilities, a world-class supplier of titanium castings and components for aerospace. The role focuses on driving quality forward through clear communication with internal teams and customers, supporting process improvements, and ensuring compliance with blueprints and specifications.

The position requires a high school diploma (Bachelor's degree preferred) with experience in quality processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; basic teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to upload/download information from customer websites; read and interpret blueprints/specifications.

Responsabilités

• Maintain configuration control documentation through contract review and blueprint/specification control.
• Submit waivers and concessions in collaboration with Engineering and Level II Quality Engineers.
• Review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) with Engineering and Level II Quality Engineers.
• Investigate and disposition customer complaints and returns; drive corrective actions.
• Review customer purchase orders for related items and ensure accuracy.
• Serve as internal quality representative for internal and external customers.
• Support certification for source inspection (AS13001/AS9117) training and certification.
• Pursue continual improvement projects and other duties as assigned.
