Consolidated Precision Products Corp. (CPP) is seeking a Quality Engineer I in Albany, OR to drive quality forward through clear internal and external communication.

The role focuses on maintaining configuration control, supporting engineering, and handling customer concerns to ensure ongoing quality improvements. You will review contracts, generate FAIRS, and lead corrective actions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; basics of using networks and network folders.
• Read and understand blueprints, detailed customer specifications/requirements.
• Able to upload/download information from various customer websites.
• Communicate effectively via direct interactions and email.
• Well organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to get the job done.

Aufgaben

• Maintain configuration control documentation through contract review and blueprint/specification control.
• Submit waivers and concessions with Engineering and Level II Quality Engineers.
• Review and submit First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
• Investigate and disposition customer complaints and returns.
• Communicate and submit Corrective Actions to customers and internally.
• Review purchase orders for customer-related items.
• Serve as internal quality representative for customers.
