Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is seeking a Quality Engineer I in Albany, OR to drive quality forward through effective communication with internal teams and external customers. The role offers growth and advancement opportunities in a world-class aerospace supplier.

Responsibilities include document control, FAIR reviews, CAPA processing, and collaboration with Engineering to ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO9001 standards. Benefits include quarterly bonus and comprehensive coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Able to upload/download information from customer websites.
• Communicate effectively in person, by phone, and via email.
• Write clear instructions for others to follow.
• Well organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain configuration control documentation through contract review and blueprint/specification control.
• Support waivers and concessions with Engineering and Level II Quality Engineers.
• Review and submit First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
• Investigate and disposition customer complaints and returns.
• Submit corrective actions to customers and internally.
• Review customer purchase orders for related items.
• Act as internal quality representative for customers.
