Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Quality Engineer or comparable quality discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with ISO9001 or AS9100; casting industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; basic network/navigation skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and customer specifications; self-directed work style.

Responsibilities

• Maintain configuration control documentation and contract reviews.
• Manage multiple customer accounts (OEMs and sub-tiers).
• Support QMS processes per AS9100/ISO9001.
• Submit waivers/concessions with Engineering.
• Review and submit First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
• Investigate and disposition customer complaints and returns.
• Communicate corrective actions to customers and internally.
• Review purchase orders related to customer items.
• Serve as internal quality representative for customers.
• Achieve and maintain source inspection certification as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement and training initiatives.
• Participate in internal and supplier audits.
• Review standards and customer specifications during audits.
