Job summary

Freudenberg is seeking a quality engineer to serve as the primary point of contact for customers, investigate concerns, and drive satisfaction across programs. You will work with customers and internal teams to ensure product quality and on-time issue resolution.

As part of the role, you will lead audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives, maintain ISO-aligned quality systems, and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance manufacturing performance and supplier quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years in quality/manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Familiar with quality tools and methodologies (root cause, corrective actions, SPC, audits).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary quality contact for customers, investigating concerns, resolving issues, and driving satisfaction.
• Lead quality initiatives including audits, inspections, corrective actions, and continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain and improve quality management systems, procedures, and documentation to ensure ISO and customer requirements.
• Analyze quality data and manufacturing trends to identify opportunities for process improvement, defect reduction, and cost savings.
• Coordinate PPAP submissions, quality documentation, and customer reports to support business.
• Manage measurement systems and calibration activities while supporting inspection equipment use.
• Train and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen quality practices and achieve operational excellence.
