Job summary

Freudenberg-NOK General Partnership seeks a quality engineer to serve as the primary quality contact for customers, investigate concerns, and drive satisfaction. You will lead audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes.

The role requires analyzing quality data, maintaining ISO-compliant systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to boost product performance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Two or more years of experience in quality, manufacturing, process engineering, production, inspection, or a related technical environment.
• Working knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as root cause analysis, corrective actions, SPC, audits, process improvement, or continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary quality contact for customers, helping investigate concerns, resolve issues, and drive customer satisfaction.
• Lead quality initiatives including audits, inspections, complaint investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain and improve quality management systems, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with ISO and customer requirements.
• Analyze quality data and manufacturing trends to identify opportunities for process improvement, defect reduction, and cost savings.
• Coordinate PPAP submissions, quality documentation, and customer-required reports to support new and existing business.
• Manage measurement systems and calibration activities while supporting the effective use of inspection and testing equipment.
• Train and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen quality practices, improve product performance, and achieve operational excellence.
