Job summary

Freudenberg Group in Bristol, NH is seeking a quality-focused engineer to serve as the primary quality contact for customers, investigate concerns, and drive satisfaction.

You will lead quality initiatives, maintain ISO-compliant QMS, analyze data for defects and cost savings, coordinate PPAP submissions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen product performance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in quality, manufacturing, process engineering, production, or related technical environment.
• Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as root cause analysis, corrective actions, SPC, audits, and process improvement.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations to improve product quality and manufacturing performance.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers, suppliers, operators, engineers, and leaders.
• Motivation to learn Lean, Six Sigma, quality systems, auditing, and customer quality management.

Qualifications:

• Two or more years of experience in quality, manufacturing, process engineering, production, inspection, or a related technical environment.
• Working knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as root cause analysis, corrective actions, SPC, audits, process improvement, or continuous improvement.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations that improve product quality and manufacturing performance.
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to work directly with customers, suppliers, operators, engineers, and leaders.
• Self-motivated problem solver who can manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Desire to learn and grow in areas such as Lean, Six Sigma, quality systems, auditing, and customer quality management.
