Job summary

Leidos Defense Sector – Colorado Manufacturing Facility seeks a Quality Engineer to ensure machined components and assemblies meet strict quality standards per drawings, specifications, and procedures. You will support documentation, troubleshooting, and non-conformance tracking; impacting performance of hypersonic defense systems.

The role requires reading blueprints, writing quality procedures, and collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 2–4 years of experience (or Master’s with 2 years).
• Experience with non-conforming material and root cause/corrective actions.
• Experience writing work instructions and QMS documentation (AS9100).
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics/CAD/models and AS9102 First Article Inspection.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing, assembly, integration and testing for aerospace and defense manufacturing.
• Develop inspection/test procedures and process plans; review nonconformance documentation; support root cause/corrective action.
• Review and approve new/revised drawings and process plans.
• Perform quality inspections of components and assemblies; document nonconforming materials.
