Job summary

Leidos Defense Sector - Colorado Manufacturing Facility is seeking a Quality Engineer 2nd Shift to ensure machined components meet strict quality standards. You will support QA, document non-conformances, and drive corrective actions in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Requirements include US citizenship, secret clearance eligibility, a relevant degree, and 2–4 years of experience. The role requires reading blueprints, AS9100 knowledge, and 2nd shift (2:30 PM–12:30 AM) availability.

Qualifications

• Experience with non-conforming material and failure analysis.
• Ability to review contract quality clauses and technical data.
• Experience documenting AS9100 QMS processes and AS9102 FAI.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics and CAD models.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing, assembly, integration and testing.
• Develop inspection/test procedures and QA plans; review nonconformance docs.
• Lead root cause/corrective action efforts and process improvements.
• Review and approve drawings and process plans; perform quality inspections.
• Coordinate MRB activities and ensure compliance with AS9100.
