Jobot is seeking a Quality Engineer in Santa Ana, CA to join a leading manufacturer of precision-engineered equipment and advanced material processing solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in quality within electronics manufacturing or aerospace, with hands-on AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 experience, and a strong ability to analyze drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. You will support audits and drive CAPA closures in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Quality experience in electronics manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience with AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 quality systems.
• Experience managing nonconformances, customer complaints, internal rejects, and supplier quality issues.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and customer quality requirements.
• Experience with electrical and/or mechanical inspection, ideally in electronics or precision manufacturing.
• Experience supporting internal, customer, supplier, and AS9100 audits.
• ASQ certifications such as CQE or CSSBB preferred.

Job Details

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of Quality experience in electronics manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 quality systems.
• Strong knowledge of root-cause analysis, 8D, 5 Why, FMEA, CAPA, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Experience managing nonconformances, customer complaints, internal rejects, and supplier quality issues.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and customer quality requirements.
• Experience with electrical and/or mechanical inspection, ideally in electronics or precision manufacturing.
• Experience supporting internal, customer, supplier, and AS9100 audits.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
• ASQ certifications such as CQE or CSSBB preferred.
