We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent role and an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading company in the engineering industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our engineering processes and products meet established quality standards. The candidate will be instrumental in conducting audits, developing quality control plans, and working closely with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure quality at every step of the process. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about quality, has a keen eye for detail, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality control plans to ensure that our engineering processes meet the company's quality standards and comply with regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits of our engineering processes and products to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that all materials and components meet our quality standards.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure that our products are produced to the highest quality.
  • Use FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) techniques to anticipate potential problems and develop solutions.
  • Conduct regular Kaizen events to encourage continuous improvement in our processes and products.
  • Monitor and report on quality-related key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Train and mentor team members on quality control procedures and standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality engineering role in the engineering or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control methods and standards.
  • Experience conducting audits and developing quality control plans.
  • Proficiency in FMEA and Kaizen techniques.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in using quality control software and tools.
