Responsibilities

• Lead quality planning and assurance activities across engineering and manufacturing operations.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions to meet customer and internal requirements.
• Maintain and improve quality management systems aligned with AS9100 and applicable regulatory and customer standards.
• Lead root cause analysis of product defects, process deviations, and customer complaints using structured methods such as 8D, 5 Whys, and fishbone analysis.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions, verifying their effectiveness to prevent recurrence.
• Conduct internal audits, support external and customer audits, and ensure timely closure of findings.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality issues and strengthen process controls.
• Support risk assessments, process FMEAs, control plans, inspection plans, and validation activities.
• Analyze quality metrics, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce scrap, rework, and cost of poor quality.
• Maintain accurate quality documentation and communicate findings, risks, and improvement opportunities to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of quality engineering experience within engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, or a related technical environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated experience with PPAP, AS9100, and root cause analysis, or equivalent quality frameworks and structured problem‑solving methodologies.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, auditing practices, nonconformance management, and corrective action processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and inspection requirements.
• Experience applying quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, and capability analysis.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a hands‑on approach to solving technical problems.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams and engage with customers and suppliers.
• Quality engineering or auditing certifications are advantageous.
