Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Production Supervisor- Quality for the 2nd shift at the Fullerton, CA site. You will lead Quality operations, collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to ensure products meet customer and regulatory standards, and promote a culture of quality.

The role emphasizes accountability, coaching, and continuous improvement, with focus on NDT, calibration, and inspection readiness to support operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and relevant experience equivalent to 5–7 years.
• Minimum of two years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Experience leading teams in a manufacturing and quality environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Quality personnel through coaching and performance management.
• Establish quality objectives with the Quality Manager and monitor metrics.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
• Direct quality inspection, testing, calibration, and verification activities.
• Review engineering docs to verify inspection requirements and methodologies.
• Lead investigations, determine root causes, implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean and Howmet Business System.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Materials, Shipping & Receiving.
