Job summary

Howmet Aerospace seeks a Production Supervisor- Quality for the Fullerton, CA site. You will lead Quality Operations, partner with Operations/Engineering, and drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

You will oversee inspections, calibrations, NDT, and other QC activities, review engineering docs, and implement corrective actions while promoting safety and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5–7 years, incl. 2+ years in supervision.
• Experience leading teams in manufacturing and quality environments.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Product Quality, or Quality Engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.
• Lean Manufacturing, Root cause Analysis, SPC and continuous improvements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Quality personnel through coaching, performance management, and career progress.
• Establish quality objectives with the Quality Manager and meet metrics.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Direct quality inspection, testing, calibration, and verification activities.
• Oversee Final/Receiving Inspection, Calibration, NDT, Source Inspection and other quality functions.
• Review engineering docs to verify inspection requirements and quality methodologies.
• Lead investigations of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and improve QC methods to enhance quality and customer satisfaction.
• Drive continuous improvement using Howmet Business System and Lean principles.
