Job summary

Howmet Fastening Systems seeks a Production Supervisor for the Fullerton, CA site. This role leads daily manufacturing operations, guiding a team on safety, quality, and productivity to achieve delivery goals.

Responsibilities include coaching hourly employees, managing attendance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives, with a focus on lean practices and strong leadership on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of supervisor experience in aerospace/high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience supervising hourly manufacturing employees.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; aerospace/precision manufacturing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet Safety, Quality, Cost, and Productivity objectives.
• Supervise, coach, and develop hourly employees to achieve team performance.
• Manage attendance, timekeeping, overtime, vacations, staffing levels, and daily workforce allocation.
• Drive lean manufacturing initiatives (5S, Visual Management, Root Cause Analysis) and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with policies, quality standards and safety requirements; perform regular Gemba walks.
• Prepare daily production reports and participate in Daily Management meetings.
