Responsibilities

  • General labor employee will need to implement proper procedures for the packaging department.
  • Ensures a complete understanding of GMPs, HACCP, and SQF guidelines.
  • Ensures they know and understand the process for de-clipped summer product at the de-clipping stations.
  • Know and understand the process for inspecting summer products for defects after the de-clipping station.
  • Know and understand the process to load meat product into film pockets.
  • Employee will ensure they know and understand the process to inspect package integrity at the inspection table.
  • Know and understand the process of packaging the product into boxes, following the packaging counts and format.
  • General labor employees will need to ensure they know and understand the process of palletizing, following the pallet pattern per product.
  • General labor employees will need to ensure they know and understand the process of reviewing product labels.
  • General labor employees will need to ensure they know and understand the process to load product onto the cutting equipment, based on product size and species.
  • General labor employees will need to ensure they know and understand the process of labeling food contact containers accordingly based on the proper product ID.
  • General labor employees will need to ensure they know and understand the process of covering products properly to prevent cross-contamination.
  • General labor employees will need to ensure they know and understand the process to stage product containers, follow proper lot numbers, and species.
  • General labor employees will need to ensure they know and understand the process to load stick product by counts or weight into film pockets.
  • General labor employees will need to ensure they know and understand the process of inspecting stick packages at the inspection table.
  • General labor employees will need to ensure they know and understand the process to package stick packages following the packaging format.
