The role operates on the 1st shift, offers full-time employment, and pays $19.00 per hour. You will perform packaging, random weight checks, quality inspections, and ensure boxes and pallets are prepared correctly.

Responsibilities

• Load bulk meat logs (up to 30 pounds) into meat slicer at required production frequency levels.
• Perform random re-weight checks of sliced meat product.
• Review and inspect product.
• Place pre-determined amount of sliced meat products into packaging.
• Reject meat product that does not meet specifications.
• Place required number of packages into box.
• Inspect individual packages for proper quality specifications at a rate of 21 – 40 units per minute.
• Ensure that boxes are filled per required levels.
• Place completed boxes on pallet ensuring proper pallet configuration.
• Place empty pallet into position for proper stocking.
• Always maintain areas in a clean and sanitary manner.
• Inspect equipment for sanitary conditions.
• Inspect product for quality and any signs of foreign material contamination.
• Contribute to team effort by performing other duties as assigned and needed.
