Job summary

Carl Buddig and Company in Illinois is seeking a packer associate to efficiently load and seal products on a fast-paced production line, while adhering to safety and food-safety standards. You will rotate across wet and dry areas, inspect for quality and foreign material, and help maintain packaging supplies.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and working 40+ hours per week.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively with other packers and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Packers wear PPE as specified (plastic apron, sleeves, hair net, earplugs, gloves).
• Rotate among stations every 30 minutes.
• Inspect products for quality and signs of foreign material contamination.
• Stock packaging material dispensers with tubs, lids, labels, and boxes.
• Use a cart to transport packing materials to workstations.
• Support the team by performing other tasks when the line is not operating.
• Report issues to the operator, Lead or Supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
