Job summary

Packsize International in Salt Lake City is seeking a Quality Documentation Specialist to triage document control requests, manage controlled documents from creation to obsolescence, and perform QA checks before release. You'll edit content in the CCMS, publish documents, track versions, and support cross-functional teams with policies, safety, and audits.

Strong writing, detail orientation, and basic project management are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree required.
• 1-3 years QA/QC document control experience, preferably in a hardware manufacturing setting.
• Strong writing and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to research and understand technical content.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Intermediate computer skills with Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming Document Control requests and route work appropriately.
• Oversee controlled documents from creation through distribution and obsolescence.
• Author and edit controlled content in the CCMS.
• Perform final QA checks prior to document release.
• Publish final documents and update registry/version tables.
• Own and monitor support channels.
• Assist with documentation across policies, safety, and related materials.
• Track documentation gaps identified through audits.
• Contribute to process improvements in document control workflows.
• Build relationships with knowledge management, quality assurance, safety, and HR teams.
