Job summary

Packsize International is seeking a Document Control Specialist in Louisville, KY, to triage document control requests, manage controlled content from creation to obsolescence, and ensure quality through CCMS authoring and QA checks.

You will publish final documents, maintain registry/version tables, and support compliance documentation across multiple functions while collaborating with QA, safety, security, HR, and knowledge management teams.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years demonstrated experience in QA/QC document control, preferably in a hardware manufacturing setting.
• Strong writing and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Proficiency in research and technical understanding.
• Effective communication abilities.
• Intermediate computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming Document Control requests and route work per process.
• Oversee controlled documents from creation to distribution and obsolescence.
• Author and edit content in the CCMS; perform final QA checks before release.
• Publish final documents and update registry/version tables.
• Support administrative and compliance documentation across functions.
• Assist with audits by tracking gaps in documentation.
• Contribute to process improvements in document control workflows.
• Collaborate with knowledge management, QA, safety, security, and HR to keep content current.
• Represent document control standards in cross-team coordination.
