Job summary

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, 1-3 years' experience, and certification in DOT Aggregate Technician or MSHA, with ability to obtain within stated timeframes. Willingness to work flexible hours and lift 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of related work experience.
• DOT Aggregate Technician Certificate or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• MSHA certificate or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control tests to ensure material meets specs.
• Report results upward and assist with data analysis.
• Troubleshoot and propose improvements to product quality.
• Assist with method development and documentation of QA data.
• Maintain calibration and care of testing equipment.
• Support Plant Superintendents and Managers as needed.
• Update QA databases and provide summaries as required.
• Learn basic operations of cement, asphalt or aggregate plants.
• Promote safety policies and use PPE as required.
