Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform QC tests on specific product lines, following established standards and reporting results to the team.

The role involves data analysis, problem solving, and supporting the Materials Performance Manager with best-practice quality initiatives. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years of experience, and relevant certifications (DOT Aggregate Technician, MSHA) or the ability to obtain them

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of work experience.
• DOT Aggregate Technician Certificate or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• MSHA Certificate or ability to obtain within 6 months via Holcim training.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality control tests for specified product line following local or national standards.
• Conducts tests per ASTM and AASHTO precision standards and reports results upward.
• Performs data analysis, troubleshooting, and trend analysis on material performance.
• Supports implementation of best practices and quality initiatives with the Material Performance Manager.
• Assists with development and documentation of material control plans and data.
• Calibrates, maintains, and services lab and field testing equipment as needed.
• Keeps Quality Control databases updated and provides summaries or analyses.
• Learns basic operations of cement, asphalt or aggregate plants and provides guidance to customers.
